TCHS Academics

The Academic Program at TCHS strives to make students as successful as they can be, no matter what their goal is after high school (college, art school, military, work force). Since we see each student as a unique creation of God, our goal is to teach the whole student through a sound, academic program which supports various modalities of learning. All classes are taught from a Christian perspective and incorporate biblical and Christian worldview.

Our students go to a variety of colleges and universities, and our course offerings and academics support that dream. All of our academic classes are UC approved, and we offer several Honors classes, which prepare students to take the AP test.

As graduation requirements, students must take 4 years of English, Social Science, Math, and Science plus two years of foreign language and physical education and one year of Art which provides every student an opportunity to apply to a 4 year college or university.

TCHS provides a smaller teacher to student ratio so that students establish rapport with teachers and are able to receive help when they have questions. The faculty work to help students discover and reach their potential and be successful in whatever their future holds.

Trinity Christian High School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Association of Christian Schools International. Students come from the surrounding communities of Monterey County and attended by International students from Japan, China, and France. 98 percent of all graduates from TCHS go on to colleges across the United States.
